What We Do

The ICT Department provides end-to-end technology services that enable the smooth functioning of the college, including:

• Campus Network & Internet Services
  Design, deployment, and maintenance of wired and wireless networks, ensuring secure and uninterrupted connectivity across campus.
• Data Center & Systems Management
  Operation and support of institutional servers, storage, backups, and virtualization platforms to safeguard academic and administrative data.
• Cybersecurity & Digital Safety
  Implementation of security controls, access management, monitoring, and awareness to protect GCIT’s digital assets and users.
• User Support & Technical Assistance
  Responsive ICT helpdesk services for staff and students, covering hardware, software, accounts, and systems support.
• ICT Governance & Policy Implementation
  Development and enforcement of ICT policies, standards, and procedures aligned with institutional and national frameworks.
• Technology Enablement for Learning & Innovation
  Supporting laboratories, smart classrooms, online platforms, and emerging technologies that enhance hands-on learning and research.
